Haha! At least yours can cook! Midweek is when I'm grouchiest, so if I do cook during the week, it's usually Thursday, because the next day is the last workday of the week, etc and that's enough to make me perky again. :) Tell me how your kedgeree/khichidi goes!

Hi Melting Wok, I suppose you must have lived in the US long enough to start thinking in pounds, huh? Oh no, I have goldfish memory that's why I need all these lists! :) If I don't keep a list, I'll be wasting a lot of time in the candy and chips aisles, that's a guarantee! But my-my, portioning everything out in the fridge? That sounds meticulous!

Cheers gals!Shilpahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01775487084298169773noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2173233700401422121.post-84722709594445350242007-02-10T09:48:00.000+01:002007-02-10T09:48:00.000+01:00shilpa haha I noticed you use "kilo" haven't heard...shilpa haha I noticed you use "kilo" haven't heard tt word for a while. Need to learn to be more discipline like you & tiger. But tt tiger's formula got tiny problem, she always complain no this and no that, heheMelting Wokhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03496197037949709263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2173233700401422121.post-26380300008284556452007-02-09T20:42:00.000+01:002007-02-09T20:42:00.000+01:00BTW your salmon dish looks nice, I have some salmo...BTW your salmon dish looks nice, I have some salmon sitting & waiting in the freezer now I know what I can doBong Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15407918137263251235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2173233700401422121.post-87732450415133009692007-02-09T20:41:00.000+01:002007-02-09T20:41:00.000+01:00LOl:) Very nicely written. You actually do that...a...LOl:) Very nicely written.
You actually do that...ahem !!! If you say geeky, then I fall in the same gp. :O I usually have list(2) and list (3) and basically, they go through a massive iterative loop. This is geekiness - IF (What I want to eat) is this, THEN (buy this, this and that); ANDIF I've (bought this, this and that), GOTO(think of what other dishes can be prepared); ENDLOOP (when what I wanna eat AND what I buy AND what else can be prepared using what I buy, are all satisfied condtions, leaving me with minimum leftovers).
LOL!tigerfishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13575213806359208350noreply@blogger.com
